TDclothing and Cash for Kids make fundraising for your school easy and very rewarding both financially and socially. Whilst raising funds for your school by recycling your unwanted clothing, you are also helping to assist our environment and support disabled and disadvantaged children right here in our region.
Our scheme creates recycling awareness among the children, this is invaluable as it is important that younger generations become aware of the impact that everyday waste has on our environment. It’s for their future!

Once your booking has been received you will be contacted within 48 hours to arrange a collection date and time.
You will be sent posters to put up round school to promote your TDclothing collection; you will also receive by email a copy letter which you can print for the children to take home to their parents.
how it works
Teachers, parents and children will bring their bags of unwanted clothing into school; our driver will arrive at the pre-arranged time. Your bin bags will be weighed using modern approved digital platform scales with a readability of 5 grams to ensure total accuracy.
We pay you 40p for every kg, and we pay an additional 5p for every kg direct to Cash for Kids. You receive immediate cheque payment along with a receipt for your collection.
Our drivers carry ID badges, wear full company uniform and drive distinctive TDclothing vans.

For the chance to win £1,000 for your school all you have to do is sign up to CFM’s Cash for Kids adoption campaign.
Schools across Cumbria and South West Scotland have been invited to adopt them as one of the charities they support during the school year and the school which raises the most money per pupil by the end of July 2010 will win the ultimate Christmas party for their school.. CFM will host the party and will provide the entertainment suitable for the age range of your school.
As part of the partnership they will also help you raise funds for your school with various opportunities throughout the year.

Clothing recycling scheme for your school
Throughout the year your school will participate in three clothing collections carried out by TDclothing, we will pay Cash for Kids 45p for every kg that we collect, Cash for Kids will then pay your school 25p for every kg that you collected, it’s that simple! All the money raised from your collections will be added to your yearly fundraising total.
As an added bonus the school that raises the most money for Cash for Kids from their three clothing collections will receive a cheque from TDclothing for £1,000
TDclothing provide the recycling service, arrange for the clothing to be collected, CFM handle all the admin associated with the campaign and you raise money for your school.
